You already have the degree.
This is the route.
A Level 2 trade qualification is the fastest legal way onto a British construction site — and for an engineering graduate, it is the way in, not the ceiling.
Why would an engineer
lay bricks?
Because in Britain the trade is how you get onto site — and being on site is how you rise. The tools are respected there; many of the people leading the work started with them in hand.
You would not be starting at the bottom. You would be starting with both the skill and the education.
This describes how the UK construction industry works — supervisors and managers there routinely come up through the trades. It is not a promise about your career, and BTI does not arrange promotions.
You already know what your skills are worth at home, and what a few more years may bring. Our work is to help you reach further — with the trade skill and the certification a UK employer recognises.
Britain is short of skilled hands.
Not short of degrees. Short of people who can build. The work cannot be moved offshore and it cannot be automated. That is why the pay is what it is.
The whole route, from today to work-ready.
Six steps. At every one of them, you take a step and we take one alongside you. You are never doing this alone, and never in the dark.
What comes after training is support, not a guarantee. BTI does not promise a job, an employer or a visa — and we would always rather be honest with you than raise hopes we cannot answer for.
You live on campus. You work with your hands every day.
Things you can check for yourself.
আপনার সন্তান কোথায় থাকবে, কে তার দেখাশোনা করবে
Where your family member will live, and who will look after them.
This part of the site is written for parents — the people who support the decision, and who are right to ask careful questions. Read it in Bangla, and talk to us. A real person always answers.
You pay nothing towards a programme before the assessment.
The questions a sceptic asks.
The next intake
starts August.
Send one message. We will tell you honestly whether this is for you before you spend anything.
