Work in Japanstarts with Japanese.
Japan's workforce is shrinking fast, and since 2019 it has been open to skilled workers from Bangladesh through the Specified Skilled Worker system. The skill matters. The language decides everything. Our programmes teach both, every day, on our campus in Sylhet.
Three programmes
Choose your field. Japanese runs through all three.

Construction
Formwork, reinforcing bar, plastering and tiling, taught to Japanese practice — with the site Japanese and the safety habits Japanese sites run on.
The Construction programme →Care
Caring for elderly people in Japanese care homes: daily assistance, safety and hygiene, and the respectful Japanese that care work depends on. Developed with a UK care provider.
The Care programme →Agriculture
Greenhouse and field crops, and livestock — farm skills, farm safety, and the Japanese you need to follow instructions on a Japanese farm.
The Agriculture programme →How it works
From Sylhet to Japan, step by step.
- 1
Assessment in Sylhet
We look at your aptitude, your commitment, and how you take to learning a new language.
- 2
Residential training
Japanese every day, the skills of your field, and Japanese workplace safety — about six months on campus.
- 3
The two official tests
The Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese (JFT-Basic) and the skills evaluation test for your field — both sat in Dhaka.
- 4
Meeting employers
Candidates who have passed can contact Japanese employers directly, or seek the assistance of authorised recruitment agencies.
- 5
The legal steps
If you receive a job offer, your employer applies in Japan for your Certificate of Eligibility, and you complete your BMET registration and your visa through the official channels. We explain every step.
Interviews are arranged at an employer's request. BTI is a training institute: we do not recruit, place or arrange visas, and we do not guarantee a job, an employer or a visa.
Please be careful
Nobody can sell you a Japanese visa. Only a Japanese employer can apply for your Certificate of Eligibility, and only after offering you a job. If anyone offers you a place, a job or a visa for Japan in BTI's name, it is not something we can stand behind — tell us, and we will help.
A question about Japan?
Ask us anything. A real person replies, in Bangla or English, and we will tell you honestly which of the three programmes — if any — suits you.
